Those prices pushed too many people away from what he saw as the best planning strategy for many situations: a trust.
That experience led him to start NC Wills & Trusts with a simple premise: make estate planning more accessible and more affordable for all North Carolina families. Our flat-fee structure, virtual-friendly process, and strong focus on education all grew out of that goal. When clients work with us, they work directly with the founding attorney who designed this model after seeing what didn’t work for families.
Kevin’s roots run deep in North Carolina. He grew up in Raleigh, earned his undergraduate degree from East Carolina University, and completed his Juris Doctor at Campbell Law School. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the Wake County Bar Association. That local background means he understands both North Carolina law and the communities we serve.
The Person Behind The Legal Work
Estate planning touches family, faith, and future, so it often feels personal. Knowing a bit about the person guiding you through it can make the process more comfortable. Outside the office, Kevin spends most of his free time with his wife, Emily, and their two young children. He also stays very active in his church, North Wake Church of Wake Forest, where he volunteers. When time allows, he enjoys a round of golf.
